Music Services

Music is as critical to the overall “experiential” strategy as any other element. Supporting it should take the form of ensuring it is properly implemented and maintained, just as elements such as logos and service philosophy are maintained.

Our music solution covers the needs & requirements of our clients ensuring it is cost effective, reliable, user friendly, flexible, remotely manageable and operationally “hands-off “.

Our hardware solution is a commercial media player, on which runs a Music Management System (MMS).  

The key MMS features are:

Uploading & scheduling of music. Music updates are “pushed” to the players, adding to the library. Different styles of music can be scheduled to play at different times of the day (called “dayparting”) or month/year – for example, increasing the frequency of Christmas songs that play as Christmas approaches.

Diagnostics & support. The health of all players in the network can be monitored via an online portal. Other than where a player has completely died (very rare), the “fix” can be delivered online.

Instore messages. As part of our Supporting Artists initiative, launched during Covid (a very tough time for artists), we provide instore voice announcements to our clients. The idea is that this incentivised the client to utilise voice-over work, which the artists are paid for. Instore announcements support major campaigns, product and service tips and Loyalty programs.

Authorised users. The Marketing Team or a Venue Manager can access an online portal and upload, schedule and delete visual content. Content can be scheduled to play for specific periods and frequency.

Forward, store, play. The solution is NOT a streaming solution. The tracks reside on the player. Each player build involves the programming and scheduling of the initial music library. The players automatically download fresh, matching tracks which are added to the library and become automatically available for play. As a result, there are no “buffering” issues while different players (or groups of players) can be scheduled to play different types of music. Critically, it will play music regardless of an internet drop out.

Key features of our music channels. These are what we call their internal consistency ie the style, beats per minutes & energy of the tracks fall within a set parameter, so that they maintain a consistent audio environment and leave the listener feeling stimulated and comfortable. Also, the tracks are all “G” rated, meaning there is no swearing or offensive themes.

Optional music on-demand. This feature provides the capacity to play specific music channels on-demand. For example, if the vibe in the room changes, or you have a special event to cater for, the authorised user scans a QR code (set up on location), which brings up the music channel options for immediate select & play. This feature can be managed via a mobile phone or tablet, with access to the on-demand content facilitated by a QR code.
